Cora — Period and Bladder Care

Challenge — Every single day, 800 million girls and women are menstruating around the world. But do many of these women feel like they're able to talk about their periods openly? Not really. The topic of menstruation is still taboo by most of society’s standards. It falls under the category of “bathroom talk.” And while, yes, it is something that one might avoid bringing up around a dinner table, it’s a basic function of womens’ biologies that can be extremely challenging and even life-altering. And they should be able to talk about it without feeling embarrassed.

Insight — Cora is restructuring how we think and talk about our periods by ditching the euphemisms and empowering women to bleed loud.

Partnership —

NPR's The Moth hosts The Menstruation Monologues: an evening of uncensored period talk sponsored by Cora. The proceeds from this event would go toward Cora's initiative to donate period products to girls and women in need.
